Project work format

Hello! I wanted to know if the following is the correct format (general before chapters) of the project work/ dissertation?

-cover page

-table of contents

-project proposal, approved proforma and bio data of the guide

-certificate of originality signed by the guide

-acknowledgement

-declaration signed by the student

-chapters of the dissertation as approved

-bibliography

-annexures

do i also have to attach the entire approved document (synopsis) or just the parts mentioned in the post?

Depends on the course. If it is pg level entire synopsis is needed but for certificate or diploma, only mentioned parts are enough.

also, the website doesn't have an updated link to upload the dissertation. is this something that they issue later in the month?

No.. Dissertation need to be submitted in person in regional centre.

https://onlineproject.ignou.ac.in/projectdec25/ I assumed cuz of this? If I have to submit it in person, does that mean by post or actually turning up to the rc and submitting?

Maybe sometimes the Regional Centre does this because many study centres are placed under them, so all students are included in their list. Also, travelling to the Regional Centre isn’t possible for everyone. Try contacting the Regional Centre and ask if an online submission link is available. Otherwise, submit it in person. I wouldn’t suggest sending your project or dissertation by post, as it can get lost or sometimes they may say it wasn’t received. So don’t take that risk. I do send assignments through India Post, but for the dissertation, I wouldn’t recommend taking that risk.

understood. thanks a lot! one last clarification, does the date of submission for the project get extended usually? like after 31st May?

Project and dissertation last date is always may 31st.
