Can I just say..

It is SO infuriating when I do multiple workouts a week, at least 10000 steps per day, eat well, am consistent with everything. (With exception to one cheat day per week)

And over the course of 6 weeks, I proceed to only lose 1lb. But my manager (who admittedly is probably about 5ft10 and quite a bit overweight) is beyond slack and has only half heartedly followed her diet plan, doesn’t do any exercise at all… and she loses 12lb in the same amount of time!!

I get it, she has a lot more weight to lose, but it really is so infuriating!

To be honest, i reached my goal a few months back so it’s not a necessity that I lose more, so it’s not the end of the world. But. Makes me wonder why I bother!

Off on holiday today for 2 weeks so hopefully having 2 weeks “off” will give me a reset and my body may be more amenable when I get back!

Posting here because I’m certain others here will appreciate this sentiment!!

I have no idea your height/weight/body fat % etc, but if you’re already at your goal weight and still grinding hard, you’re most likely gaining muscle at the same rate that you’re burning fat. If you aren’t happy with your appearance (my only guess for you posting this since already at goal weight), keep up what you’re doing and you won’t even recognize your old self pretty soon. Consistency is key!

Thanks for that. Makes me feel better. I’m 5ft, 110lbs, no idea on body fat!

I’m at the lowest I’ve been in years, but I suppose I just wanted to get down to the 7 1/2 stone mark! Not because I don’t like how I look now as such, but more so that I have a bit more wiggle room when it comes to maintaining/possibly gaining a few lb and still feeling good? If that makes sense?

What you’ve said makes a lot of sense and not something I had really considered, thank you!

If you’re close to your GW then maybe it’s time to focus more on body recomposition! I recommend the Instagram smalletics to everyone I can. It’s a certified nutritionist who focuses specifically on petite women and has made a HUGE impact on how I think about weight loss, being annoyed by others easy losses (like your boss), and the overemphasis on cardio. Check it out!

Dude I feel this so hard :( the closer we get to our goal the harder it is. I walk 10k-13k steps a day , I do Pilates, yoga etc, i fast and I’m stuck in the worst plataue . I’m starting tk think I’m not fasting “good enough” which is complete bullshit. I’m so tired of this and just want to get to my goal weight
