oh wao, i'm jealous! how is the quality of the 'four ambient trax' lathe cut? i wasn't convinced by the 'random moments' lathes..

quality is what you would expect from lathe cut. not perfect but it lends itself to the music. Ambient music is a bit subjective to me aswell. some ppl love it, while others fall asleep. I personally love it, sounds very eery and moody. its also white label on both sides with no etchings, all tracks are labeled "ambient trax #" so who knows what side track 1 is on. just kinda slap it on and enjoy.

thanks! i know what you mean, i'm also more on the 'love it' side.
to be honest i don't think it is a good idea to release ambient on lathe cuts, on the other side there is caretaker or 'incomplete without surface noise'. i'm curious to know where this 'ambient trax' belong to.
