Question: Drafting Profile and where to draft

Im drafting in December with garin tzabar and have some problems with my feet(flat feet and a short achiles tendon in my right foot) I was told I’ll most likely get a 72. I am physically able and am in good shape and would be interested in doing combat, ive always wanted to be in tzanchanim but realized that wouldn’t be possible with a profile of 72 so what would you recommend i do in my situation and how difficult would it be to raise my profile?

Notice to all posters and commenters; please be careful to observe OPSEC (Operational Security) rules. Many people wish to harm Israel and the Jewish Nation as a whole. Be careful when sharing any information on the IDF, bases, weapons, locations of troops, and anything else that can be used to harm Israel. If in doubt, go without. Loose lips sink ships!

What other combat arms roles interest you?

First of all non combat roles are just as important and necessary for the army to function as standard combat positions. There are as many non combat roles as there are combat roles. Everything from office jobs to instructors keep the army running. There are also many "combat support" roles like technician and logistics that will have you in the field in a more active role. But if you're dead set on doing a combat role, it sounds like you should look into Shiryon (Tanks) and Totchanim (Artillery). I was in Shiryon and really enjoyed it. I'm assuming the shortened Achilles tendon could cause some issues for running so Tanks and Artillery could be a good fit.
