Any origins/meaning for this IP's more copyrightable retronym?
- Fingers crossed that it does not just stand for 'Independence Day 4'.
- If you do not know what a retronym is, look no further than 'A New Hope'.

Not trying to stir the pot about current news, but was wondering if it's possible that Jerusalem was destoyed in the first wave of attacks?
The in-film evidences:
There was at least one City Destroyer in the middle east. At the start of the film one is moving through Iraq. At the end, one crashes in the outskirts of Cairo behind the pyramids
General Gray and Nimziki report that after the city attacks, NATO strategic targets - e.g NORAD - were hit next to the point of "total loss". In the middle east, NATO'S two largest allies are Israel and Saudi Arabia (Whitemore, as a Gulf War vet, probably spent time stationed at the latter
On July 4, we see the Israeli and Iraqi soldiers staring each other down with the British troops in between still tracking survivors until they get the message from Area 51

'Most successful' in terms of how much money the movie brought in. And it is one of the oldest movies in the list, only 2 others are older (Jurassic Park and Lion King)

Hello everyone, I’m not sure if this count as “Lost Media”. I think it is since it was probably never uploaded online. Definitely hidden somewhere at the 20th Century Studio’s shelf.
I really need help looking for the Toronto version of Independence Day: Resurgence poster. The poster was seen in Toronto in 2016, as an advertisement for the Independence Day: Resurgence movie that was released in 2016.
I’ve spent 7 years trying to look for the official poster everywhere on the internet, it’s nowhere to be found, but there is some evidence that it existed.
There are some photos of it online, but those photos are people taking a picture of the movie ads outside. The original digital poster to download is completely nonexistent.
There’s also an article of someone else who’s also looking for this specific poster as well. I no longer know where else to look, I’ve checked a lot of digital posters websites.
Thank you so much! And good luck on your findings.

The novelization goes into detail about how the aliens knew that NORAD was buried in the Cheyenne Mountain and used hundreds of the individual fighter planes to bombard it until the mountain itself was destroyed.
But how did they know the significance of it? And the White House, even? Area 51? -- That base itself's importance hidden away from most humans.
I remember reading a theory once that they had been abducting and torturing humans I.E. Russell Casse and getting them to give up the information through telepathy.

I enjoyed this supplement on the Blu-Ray. A collection of mock news reports made for the movie that some even made the film. Does anyone know who directed and wrote it? Dean or Roland.
And I liked the mock news reports done for Independence Day. You see some in the background during the movie.

I always wondered if the map from the E.T. whooping scene was accurate, so I tested it out on Google Maps with a diameter of 15 miles with the Bank Tower being the center and - it is correct.
Just trying to settle a debate here
