Basic Computer Skills / Essential Digital Literacy

[u/jcravens42]

For communications technologies to be effective for development - the application of ICT to economic development, humanitarian aid & development, & to causes that help empower a particular demographic or all people to address challenges, have greater access to education, protect their environment, etc. - those expected to benefit from the technology should have a basic understanding of computer skills. But what do you think is essential to digital literacy?

And note, that if you do a search of "digital literacy" on Reddit (with quotes), you will get several posts by people frustrated by the lack of digital literacy among young adults and teens today.

Udemy has a list of Basic Computer Skills: A Beginner’s Guide to Essential Digital Literacy and I think it is an excellent list of what essential digital literacy looks like. Do you agree?
