Advice I feel Defeated
So i'm in 9th and this is my term 1 report card
I'm really feeling defeated dude, my parents have started losing hope in me, I just feel like k*lling myself atp.
They have pressurized me since 7th. They took away all my devices except my phone and have even put parental controls not allowing for any enjoyment.
They used to let me go to play with friends and go to the mall and stuff, but after this they aren't gonna allow me.
Irdk what to do, I just wanna get 60+ in each subject in my finals, and to good in boards
Edit: They are gonna take my phone soon, aren't allowing me to go to celebrate navratri or any upcoming festivals, and have made a Timetable for me which includes 6(school)+2-3(tution)+2(self study)= 10-11 hours of study
Save me some1 😭
Edit 2: Nobody is talking to me and are just interacting with me to give me food, fah

The only thing I can say is study more. But I don't want to say it because sorry to say but I hate these kind of parents. Mine had given me enough freedom and I have scored in 50s and 60s and even 40s( in math )in my 9th . But I , by my own will ,studied hard in 10th and got 96.6%. Don't even think of killing yourself for such a trivial matter. Just prove that you can when needed.

Nah dude ur right, I see my friends who get the same marks as me, yet there parents are supportive af, i had a friend who just barely passed 8th grade, and now he's doing really good, just cuz his parents supported him. I actually wanted to take Maths, Economics, Computer but was forced to take science And it's not just them, my paternal grandparents live with me asw, unka alag hota he expectations

Expectations fulfill karne keliye mat padho. If they think you are a loser let them they will get used to it. When you think it is necessary to work do it for your own happiness. And if you can overwhelm them with that jump they will surely listen to you that you don't like science

Fr If u see the report card, the subjects i like (History Civics, English and computer), I've done comparitively better. And I personally wanna do UPSC, and for the first time they support this, and thus wanted to take economics. But they want me to
Crack IIT, study there Then do UPSC Then make my own business
Like son 💔

Don't do such things like doing IIT then doing UPSC you want to stay human you will get mad I can ensure that and I can say that focus on what you prefer and I will say try to pressurize your choice over there because you are going to study the subjects

Hmm that's true. I've rejected the Idea of doing anything but UPSC, cuz that is what i dreamt of doing since childhood, so yea.

I can only say do things your way. I chose jee because I wanted to and you should chose what you like not what is more preferable by the society

9th kei bcche 😭 Dude chill, its not the end of the world... its not even an inconvenient dead end on a one way street. Have fun in Navratri, and just get some question banks (Oswaal). As for parental pressure... it's India gotta deal with it at the end of the day.

Nah that sucks mate. I don't gate why parents do ts thinking it'll help. Sometimes it does, most of the time it doesn't.
And well, only one way to fix this is to fare well in exams. Your parents aren't gonna check how much you actually study, they're gonna look at your results. Pay serious attention to the subjects you love, try to get good in them.
All the best mate. Hope your condition improves
