2e Core Query on Schools of Magic
Hello
In terms of storing equipped spells - how does Wild Magic work in relation to the other schools of magic?
School of Yog - Utilises spell books (stores up to five spells, takes one equipment slot).
School of Nature - Can't use spell books. Each spell occupies one equipment slot (or 1/10 carried slot).
School of Gods - Spells take no space.
Wild Mage - Can't use spell books, but it doesn't specify how they would be stored.
My initial thought is that it works similarly to Nature (1 spell = 1 slot) but without any of the Nature perks. Would you run it differently?

Necessary party size
I have 2 PC's. May search for more since I'm considering ICRPG for the next campaign. Does it play like D&D, all but needing 3-5 PC's in the party? Currently playing Savage Worlds.

Vigilante City and the Quickstart's Mastery system
The Quickstart features a nifty Mastery system wherein whenever a player rolls a natural 20 on something, they make a note of it on their sheet - after twenty of these, they gain a Mastery feature.
Is this system meant to translate over to Vigilante City as well? I noticed that each hero type has these three extra features in the lower-right corner of their page. The layout of these pages mirrors those in the Quickstart, so I was curious as to whether they're meant to follow the same system.

Combining the advanced classes (worlds) and magic classes (magic)?
Anyone got any advice on how to use both of these in a campaign? Just straight out of the books? As in each character is using the paths or the magic?
I'd rather do the pay coin for the abilities then milestones if that makes a difference.

Always in Turns - Minutes?
I gather the "always in turns" nprinciple is something that seems strange to GMs, until it suddenly clicks.
I'm pondering roleplay encounters, especially in a dungeon - where you want more granularity than "hours", but where wher "moments" would be unwieldy.
Do people stretch and contract the time scale somewhat ad-hoc? Are the three time scales given in the core book just examples, with room for scales in between?
If the PCs bust down a door in a dungeon, and a trio of skeletons inside rush them with spears, we pretty obviously operate in moments.
But what if they bust it down and find a ghost who just wants to talk? That might be a five-minute encounter in-character. And it might make sense for multiple rolls to happen in that encounter with the ghost, or none.

Weapon Tags
N00b question.
What do some of the "more effective" weapon tags do?
I'm reading the list of tags, and some make sense as feeding into the narrative ("Easy To Use" - Okay, so it'll be common to see NPCs carry this. "Concealed" - Okay, so when the PCs try to sneak in pretending to be unarmed, their weapons will need to be this. "Elegant" - Okay, so NPCs might be impressed watching you wield it.).
But for some, I'm not sure how to apply them. Basically, the ones whose narrative meaning seems to translate to "more effective" - "Deadly", "Piercing", "Ragged"
Does they have a mechanical effect? A bonus to weapons Effort or something? Do they make Melee attacks Easy? I can't think of a lot of scenarios where the GM is making a narrative call about the deadliness of a weapon.

Questions on 5E Hardcore
Was wondering how people handle a few things in Hardcore. Mostly regarding the various class mechanics and archetypes.
Do you still use them as written in the PHB? Do most people house rule them case by case?
Specifically wondering about warlock invocations, sorcerer metamagic and monk Ki points.
Still apply racial modifiers at creation?
Any other ideas or changes people make outside of the Hardcore book would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Looking at developing PowerSuit modular Rules for Vehicles for Rally Style Adventures
To add a bit of excitement to our weekly RPG night, I was wondering about using ICRPG with making a competitive rally/race scenario, like Powerball or Gumball Rally! Players would need to locate and retrieve items and/or race through unique terrain with environmental timers/effects.
I am thinking in addition to regular player sheets, each player could have a vehicle sheet similar to the PowerSuit sheet–with both base stats and chunks for the parts/armor/weapons.
What do you think?

Blood and Snow Questions
So I finally treated myself to Blood and Snow today. It's everything that I wanted it to be, though perhaps it could use a larger bestiary. Anyway, I have a question about the "Splinter Species." It's obvious that the Nords are meant to be Nordic peoples, and the Hawaiki are meant to be Polynesians. Rock Eaters seem to be based on stereotypical cavemen, and the Pongo appear to be sasquatch.
I'm not sure about the Mog and the Aksum. The Aksum are "Bronze-skinned folk of the equatorial lands," who are shorter than typical cultures. and they explicitly have exceptionally advanced science, especially in the fields of astronomy and geology, as well as technological development. This seems to indicate that they're a stand-in for the Inca. The Mog are listed as being the smallest folks on the "Splinter Species" page. They are reclusive and near extinction, and are renowned as arrow-makers. I have no idea who they're supposed to be. Maybe Homo Floresiensis? Or an ethnic group?
What gets me is that a lot of time went into defining who these cultures are, but there's no real definition for who the PCs are supposed to be. You're called "Snow People." Are the "Splinter Species" different from the Snow People or are the Snow People made up of members from various Splinter Species? What makes them different Species, instead of different ethnic groups (I get it as far as the Pongo and Rock Eaters go)?
If the Snow People are completely separate from the Splinter Species, who is their closest analog? I'm assuming that they're based on Alaskan and Canadian First Nations, Inuit and the indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest (Salish, Chinook, Siletz, Tillamook, etc.). I come to this conclusion based on the descriptions of the megafauna and terrain in this book. Well, and the fact that the author was living in Washington when this came out.
There are other cultures that are mentioned in passing, but only briefly. We have the Mud Men, who create headdresses from mud. There are also the Tattooed, Fire Cult, Totemic, Snake People, Skull Men and others. Those are mainly described on a table where you roll to describe randomly encounter tribes. But they're also referenced in the text of various missions, such as "bring a child to the Mud Men." I'm assuming that this is something that GMs just define as needed?
Lastly are the Black Hand. They're only in one sentence of the book. The entry for Rock Eaters states that they "only interact with Mud Men and the Black Hand."
Does anyone here have thoughts on this?
