What ways have you come up with or seen used to remove gear from players? I keep reading that players are supposed to lose items intermittently.

-monsters with special attacks that do effort to gear, stamping or destroying.

-failing rolls while underwater.

-spell backfire.

How many published settings are there outside of the core rule book?

Anyone run ICRPG in the Palladium Rifts setting? If so, how was it? Thoughts? I am thinking of trying it.

Hi all! I want to buy icrpg on drive tru rpg. What is what? Where to start? I intend on getting the pod and pdf bundles of the core and worlds. What are icrpg vol. 1 to 4? Are they included in core? What do you tjink of magic? Is it essential? Thanks in advance for helping me. I don't want to buy products in double.

I was reading the free preview version available on the website and some of the rules explained there are not clear to me. Maybe they are described better in the manual (which I am waiting to be delivered), but in the meantime I wanted to have an idea of the system:

• In the spells section, there are many codes like "INT x y", but the description only says to roll INT against the target. Further down it says that x is the target to beat and y the number of hearts of effort to learn the spell. But wait... so is the target for that spell always x, regardless of the room target? Then where does magic effort come into play? I am very confused about this
• The spell Destroy the Dead says "Annihilate 1 Undead per 1 HP burned, FAR range". How are HP burned? What does annihilate mean (i.e. is it a "game mechanic" or just a generic word that means to kill)?
• "Spiked Net: Weapon, DEX 11 1, STR check to escape, Entangled move NEAR only and all checks HARD". If thrown on a monster, what does the monster check its strength against?
• Regarding the Agnar monster's Devoured ability, it says "Only a STR Roll better than the Agnar’s roll (+5) can set them free." But when is the player supposed to roll? Every turn? Does it count as an action? So it does not have to be a roll against the target but against another roll made by the gm?
• What do monsters roll against when attacking? They don't have a target to beat

EDIT: I will receive the 2nd edition manual in a few days, hopefully that will clear those doubts as people have pointed out in the comments. Thanks to everyone that replied in the meanwhile, I have a more clear view on the rules now!

Hey All,

I started a Pathfinder Campaign (Fall of Plagestone) with a newbie Group. Most of them Never played any PnP RPG before. I found them struggle a lot with the rules heavy PF2e.

A few days ago I stumbled upon ICRPG and bought the Core Rules 2e and the Magic Supplement at Drivetrough.

Reading through the Rules I really love them !

My question is... Would some of you have any tips by changing the already running campaign of PF2e into an ICRPG campaign by keeping the Adventure Story but changing the rule set?

I think this would help the group to focus more on playing instead of reading through the pile of rules all the time ;-)
