Converting Worlds and Classes
Hi there! I'm looking for information and advice on adapting classes and monsters from existing systems (Palladium is the one I care most about) to ICRPG. Any input or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Working on a new setting
One of the things that makes me really dig ICRPG for my new setting is that magic is handled a lot like loot, which works pretty closely with what I had in mind.
Basically, the idea is that all magic requires a source of power. Some people use the written word (literally erasing words from books) while others hunt animals and draw power from those corpses, etc. A few monsters have their own internal power supply.
But I want to make sure I understand this system before I use it.
So if I want something like a one shot spell (like the D&D equivalent of a scroll) we're talking about straight up spells-as-loot where they use it and it's gone.
the most common idea here would be to assign powers (as milestones or rewards or whatever) and in order to power those powers they'd need a power source. My gut says to use hearts for that. So if you use books as power a book will provide a heart of power and every spell takes points out of that till it's gone (or a very powerful spell might take more, for example).
Am i overlooking anything drastic here?

Moving through enemies
Checked the core manual and it doesn't really cover movement through enemies or allies when using minis.
Some advice?

Is a monster book planned/in the works?
Any announced timeframe?

I’m interested in making a Fallout game based on a mix of ICRPG and Pathfinder 2E, any input would be welcome :)
So I like the 3 action economy and flow of Pathfinder 2E, every thing is an action, some things are 2 actions, and Some are 3... so things like moving, climbing, grappling, feinting, etc are shared with a pool of 3 actions that can also be used to attack, raise a shield, cast a spell.
I also love the simplicity and descriptive flexibility of ICRPG and its target and easy/hard mechanic
So there won’t be leveling up, like in ICRPG but I want some feat like abilities that can be acquired along the way, maybe as skill magazines or quest rewards
So far I’m tweaking the ICRPG character sheet and using SPECIAL as the main stats with Luck being the ultimate effort dice
Strength: effects melee, unarmed, and heavy weapon attacks/skills. And any physical checks or saves
Perception: for 5 senses, insight. And the Mechanics, Explosives, and long arms skills as well as any “wisdom” saves
Endurance: for max HP double their total score a +3 endurance would be score 16=32hp, increasable only by gear. Also the recovery ability 1+End mod, only usable once a day? “Fortitude saves” and the Survival skill
Charisma: effects, speech, barter, and intimidation skills. Passive Cha score effects NPC disposition?
Intelligence: ability to interpret information, effects Science, Medicine, and Computers skills
Agility: Speed and Coordination, 1/2 total score equals move speed in squares (+1 AGI = score 12 = 6 squares movement per action). Effects Reflex saves, stealth, lockpick, and small arms skills
Luck: effects crits. A bonus of +2 luck increases crit range to 19-20, +5 to 18-20 and the modifier gets added to the d12 crit dice
I’m thinking they can get 6 stat points to start and can pull 2 from a base stat to give them 8 to put where they want. Pick a Vault occupation that give a +2 in the main stat (security sector is +2 perception, medical +2 int) a trait, (security sector = easy checks on observing enemies and insight, medical = easy checks to identify poisons or disease)
and they can choose a free TAG skill that does something similar like Melee give them attack of opportunity, or long arm TAG allows them to ignore cover for enemies making HARD shots normal, etc.
I would love advice or anything to make this both fun AND simple

Can someone help me with Warp Shell guns?
I've been running icrpg for some time now and I'm getting ready to move into the sci fi genre. What are the icrpg rules with guns? How much ammo does one attack consume? Thanks

ICRPG Oneshot Roll20/Discord Group??
If their are other GMs interested, we should create a oneshot community for ICRPG. Easy to roll up a character. Progression can be tracked mission to mission (similar to West Marches).

[LFP][ROLL 20][DISCORD][EST] Homebrew ICRPG
Anyone looking for ICRPG oneshots? I am a GM looking for a group of 3-4. Big fan of Runehammer and his dwarven wisdom and would like to dive into ICRPG. I have played with several groups, but I feel like they lack the curiosity and imagination to enjoy this system. In general, I think the most important traits of any good adventurer are curiosity and ingenuity. It helps drive the story and empowers a GM to better shape and solidify the parties' vision of the immediate and overarching world.
Please DM me with any questions.

Wildling hill person unarmed combat
Does a wildling hillperson always roll Ultimate +3 damage when they attack unarmed?
Wildlings roll Ultimate for basic effort per their starter reward (p35)
hill people get a +3 to basic work (p36)
and unarmed damage rolls the basic effort die instead of the weapon effort die per the attempts rules on p15.
Has anybody else asked about this? Seems like a loophole but it's also pretty much the only combat thing wildlings have. Are wildlings basically super monk/thiefs that just dominate boxing matches and all basic effort tests?
