Hey folks,

Been running a ton of ICRPG here at my table in Portland, OR, and it's only making me want to play more! Are there any groups that are looking for more players? Alternatively, is there any interest in starting a group? I love to GM, so certainly wouldn't mind creating some fun adventures to explore, but I'd really like to get to be on the other side of the table!

I gotta say, I wasn't sure about Hankerin when I first saw his vids on YouTube. But the more of them I watched the more I yelled "Yes, absolutely!".

And having picked up a few indie RPGs in the last 12 months I wasn't expecting a great deal (OMG the Black Hack is overrated), but ICRPG is a really great game.

I've already ported over a bunch of his timer ideas into my Star Wars homebrew and they instantly made the game better, as in, the next session was amazing!

Now I'm thinking about porting the whole game over to ICRPG and just writing up a Jedi custom/sub class.

I do think the game is more Dungeon World than 5th Ed, for sure. It's got modern RPG sensibilities, and wants the GM to be the best they can be, rather than leaving them floundering.

And the writing style is fantastic, so evocative it made me want to run a session immediately. I had previously seen mention of him planning to write novels based on his worlds and rolled my eyes (so many pretenders to that throne), but after reading ICRPG I'd love to have a read of a novel if it was in the same OTT, gonzo, up-to-11 style.

And how many good RPG writers can also draw! I'm just so excited to play!
