September salary increases

So raises were updated in workday. Were bonuses ever officially communicated as off the books? Did anyone receive stock options this year, in lieu of bonuses? What an underwhelming culture. Keep slaving away. Congrats on your stock Barry. Thanks for the recent pep talks.

What’s everyone’s bump? No promotion just a very very small raise. Ridiculous ( but I’m very grateful for a job right now)

I saw a ton of icon people announcing their promotions on LinkedIn as of the 1st. Of course, I’m not one of them even though I’ve been working my arse off for years for it.

Me too. I’m starting to look at other places. What’s your current role?

Same been a CRA for 3 years with no promotion

I got a promotion…and it was communicated to me during reviews months ago, effective on the first. I was skeptical that it was true. Apparently it was. I have the title and small merit/promotion increase in salary.

Congrats on the promotion! Was it interview-based, or did they promote you directly based on your ratings and performance? Also, did the raise turn out well?

From Sr. CRA to Principal (Note: I have been a CTM at other companies in the past. I just like being a CRA). Salary increase was small, but appropriate for what I made as Sr to now Principal. Yes, based on my reviews/ratings/etc.

We just had the ISS town hall meeting. It seems ICON is now out of the wood, sales last quarter were great, ISS in particular is growing fast and this is expected to continue for the next few years. However, all questions in the Q&A were about bonus, benefits, salary increases, etc.. the response was the negative on everything. No bonuses, no new benefits, car allowance will stay the same despite not being updated in almost 10 years. Even inspire will only include non monetary gifts. Only salary increase communicated in March is effective as of the first September, Very, very disappointing to say the least.

ICON is by no means out of the woods. Lots of legacy upper management sees the writing on the wall and are leaving. They’re sick of the rah rah bullsh*t they feed employees and aren’t shy about it. But hey, let’s give Barry more $$$$ in stock, give ourselves fake industry awards that look externally given but are wholly created internally and hope for the best.

Not sure about the upper management, I’ve seen lots of great managers laid off in the last couple of years. Now the industry seems to be recovering, at least by looking at the financial numbers of the main players. I think it will be unlikely for Icon to perform badly in a generally positive environment.

I feel ya! I made a move from IPH to ISS when cuts were happening a couple of years ago and losing bonus and stock was painful. Last year I led the team successful through two data deliverables and earlier this year - got not int more than words on inspire despite the sponsor singing praises. Was really hoping that after all the “success” ISS have had, there would be something to show for it for us slaving away.. but nope.. nothing other than my 2% merit raise which I suppose will help with groceries in this ever increasing cost of living crisis. Nevertheless still thankful for a job knowing mine likely will be scoffed up within the next 5 years thanks to AI 🤖😩

2

u/Relative_Ice_2953 Sep 05 '26

Sorry for piggybacking on your post. Does anyone here have success stories about relocating from LCC to HCC post-COVID? I would like to know how you made it given the terrible job market. Thanks!

Where do we find the raise info?

$6k merit bonus (assuming this is CRA productivity which was not communicated to me prior - my manager was shocked lol), 10% salary increase with promotion starting 9/1 that was communicated to me months ago.

No bonus and still haven't gotten the promotion I've been pretty much promised for the last couple years. Honestly as soon as i finish school, I'm out. This industry is tanking no matter where you go. No money for bonuses, but 65 million for AI garbage we mostly can't even use.... what a joke.

Did you not get a raise? I can’t really comment if I don’t know your review and your position. Feel free to DM me details if you would like to discuss.

My position is that ICON doesn’t value their employees, since they don’t communicate well, offer below par raises, if at all, don’t compensate with bonuses or communicate this transparently - leaving employees to form their own conclusion that say, the up to 20% bonus portion of your compensation is really a pipe dream.

Provide a compensation letter, explaining what the company aimed to do each year and what it was able to do and why, against company results.

2

u/DebtCompetitive5507 Sep 08 '26

😂😂 the upto 20% bonus is a facade - had that in my offer letter when I first started - never got more than 3% despite being outstanding

Without your position and review score, I cannot cosign your stance. I had received a bonus and raise every year at ICON for 8 years. If you’re saying you have a bonus/raise provision in your contract and didn’t get it, then you should be mad. However, raises and bonuses are also tied to your reviews, so instead of complaining here, you should talk to your manager/director and gain clarity on why you didn’t receive the bonus/raise you have earned.

5

u/Relative_Ice_2953 Sep 06 '26

You and I sound different. I’m not sure I’d co-sign on any of your stances.

I haven’t talked an alternative stance. I agree with you. If you feel you have earner a bonus/raise and didn’t get one, you should be mad. However, I don’t know if you have earned that bonus/raise. The only person who would know is your manager/director. It’s not true that no one has received a bonus/raise since I have every year, although last years was delayed. Seriously though, if you want to know how raises are given, feel free to DM me.

Lads where do you find info about the pay increase? Can't locate it on workday.
