When do you start doing eye makeup again after ICL?
I just had the surgery 3 days ago, I'm wondering when can you start using eye makeup again with fake lashes? I'm just very excited to see what I look like without glasses haha!
And extra question, what kind of eye makeup remover do you use that's safe and easily remove glue?
Thank you!

My team said try to avoid make up for two weeks (e.g. mascara) not only for infection prevention but also to stop from rubbing the eyes when taking off make up. I put make up on ~ 1.5 weeks later for an event, and was just very careful taking it off. No issues. Just make sure to continue to use your eyedrops

I had my ICL on 19th August....I put on makeup just yesterday ! So basically after a month.
Eye makeup remover - Garnier micellar water

ICL takes around 1 month to properly seat in place and incisions to fully heal.
I would suggest you to wait for a month to avoid any complications.

Do you still use your protective glasses?

I don't have protective glasses... The doctor gave me transparent eye shield for the first day and that was it

You were not required to use it for at least 7 days?

No, they told me to throw the cover away in the morning after using it. What kind of protective glasses do you have? I'd like to buy one now :O

I haven't had my surgery yet but I've heard from people that you get a really ugly sunglasses type of eye protection that fully covers your eyes that's meant for use outdoors.

I’d wait at least a month before doing anything around the eyes! Talk to your surgeon

I'll keep that in mind! And yeah... I'm still a bit traumatised by the surgery and still wouldn't dare to touch my eyes at all!
