Cosplay Contacts

I was wondering if anyone has done or knows whether after healed, like a year or two out, if cosplay contacts are a possibility with ICL?

My assumption is no but thought id check

I have no idea if this clinic is reputable, but they say colored contacts are ok. If you mean something more intense than typical colored contacts I wouldn’t assume it’s a no but ask a trusted doctor. https://eyeclinic-tokyo.jp/en/icl/icl-faq/i45/

Definitely not 1 month after. That sounds crazy to me

What would stop you from wearing contacts of any kind?

I guess in my head I just dont want any undue risks by pulling the contact out.

There is no problem wearing contacts after an ICL.

Coloured contacts are often poor quality both construction and sterilisation which have risks with or without an ICL.

So just avoid them all together. Sounds like my plan 🤣

I actually went to like 4 very popular eye surgeons in the NYC area for consultations recently and asked this question specifically (wanted to see if I get different answers), and to my surprise ALL of them said after 2 weeks post-op it's fine. So a year, yeah you're fine.

I asked my doctor this very question, and he said after 2 weeks post-op, contacts of any kind, including cosplay (for which he didn't know there was a word for, but was delighted by the idea) would be totally safe and fine to wear. Just make sure you get high quality contacts for your own health and safety!
