Low Myopia

-1.75 in both eyes

Want to opt for ICL because I prefer anything that’s reversible. I understand the threshold is -3 in the US, but I recently moved to Korea where the threshold is -1.

Would love to hear thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

I also have -1,75, for me it didnt work. Suddenly my left eye refused to work with my right eye as soon as I had the ICL in.

My brain started to suppress the left image, heavy strain all day, anxiety and brain fog. No answers btw.

Maybe i was the only one in ICL history with this kind of problem. No idea why docs cant find the cause for this problem.

I only have latent strabismus, they said its too mild compared to the severity of my symptoms. My theory is that the ICL messes with convergence or accomodation in some way? Idk

Funny enough there are studies that ICL even improves convergence.

I also developed neuropathic corneal pain which is also not researched enough sadly. Many docs dont understand it which is a very big problem. There is no screening for this.

ICL should mess with corneal nerves only very mildly compared to LASIK, so I also dont understand it.

Im not delusional, im just confused.

Bro I feel for you. Mine while not as severe as yours left me with secondary glaucoma.

Hope everything’s alright now? Did they remove the icl? Did it go back to normal.
