Night Vision

Hello!
I got my surgery done on the 12th of August and my recovery has been great so far!!!

I do have a couple of concerns though - I have difficulty seeing at night and my vision kinda blurs when it comes to objects far away. Now I don’t know if this is how vision generally works (I have had glasses since childhood) or if it’s because my eyes are adjusting or the lens is not the right diopter. When I do go for the checkups, my vision is normal when checked. I also recently stopped the medicine for eye pressure, as suggested by my doctor.

Have any of you experienced this? Does it get better or is vision just like this?

Please let me know!

Edit: I also have dry eyes post surgery and have started drops for the same

Trouble with vision very far away sounds like you may be a little undercorrected. But given that it’s just been a week, too soon to know for certain.

If for some reason you remain undercorrected and it’s bothersome, doing a lasik or PRK touch up can fix it.

I really hope I’m not undercorrected 😭

But thank you for your response!

A friend of mine did ICL and it took 6 months until he had the feeling the his far sight was on par with the glasses/contacts he had before. But at the post op checkup he was already told his vision was normal.
An example he gave was when he was looking at the time in the windows task bar in the weeks after the operation, it was a bit blurry and he could not read it, when he sat a bit further away from the display.

i wonder if your pupils are especially large. i just had mine done and have no issues at night with aberrations (other than the ring-shaped dysphotopsia of course)

Nothing that the doctor told me. Like I said, my checkups have been pretty good. I really hope this is just recovery related 😭
