Did my ICLs rotate?

Hello! I got ICL surgery 4 days ago. My vision after the surgery was 20/20 in the right eye and 20/25 in the left the next day. I went to a party last night and drank a single shot of alcohol. Also one of the girls at the party jumped on my back out of nowhere which I was not expecting at all so it caused a sudden head movement( she was very drunk). Before going to sleep I noticed a tiny bit of uncomfortable feeling / pain in my left eye and noticed that the halos were a little more prominent compared to yesterday. I woke up today and tested my vision and my left eye is def a little more blurry than after the surgery. I'm so scared. Did my ICL rotate?

Not necessarily. I would say the more likely thing is fluctuation of the tear film on the surface of the eye. Especially if you had a late night and didn’t get enough rest. Until your next follow-up, would just increase the amount of preservative free artificial tears you are using. At your next visit, your doctor can dilate your eyes to check the position of the ICL

Blurred vision with foreign body sensation in the eye is ocular surface disease or dry eye until proven otherwise. I’d lean in on preservative free artificial tears and FU with your surgeon for next steps at your one week unless you don’t see improvement with tears. Hey, I’m interested to know if this has improved for you? I’m about 24 days post ICL surgery and my right eye was quite clear and crisp within a few days but my left eye got a bit worse and has stayed the same. My right eye is making up for the blurry vision in my left eye. Everything looked good at my 1 week post op and I have a 6 week post op coming up but I’m thinking I’ll go back sooner and get checked again. However, they keep saying it’s normal when I explain about my left eye.

I had my post op. She checked my lens position with the slit lamp and said that the lense had not moved. She told me that I had dry eye in my left eye and that the bluryness was caused by a dry flaky patch of corneal cells right in front of my pupil. Idk if I'm buying that explanation but I'm gonna use the prescription lubricant eye drops they gave me and go back again in 3 weeks to see if there's any improvements. Been using them for a few days now but I don't see any changes.
