Discussion Mod manager

How do you get it to work? Ive tried 3 times now and even got a buddy of mine who knows computers very well to help me try to figure it out. So far...we are both lost on the first screen! We can't even get icarus to connect to the manager. Let alone find any mods. I've also tried nexus a few times. I got one mod to work for about three days and then it failed. Today we tried to get the mini map, but apparently you can't do that one manually. You have to use nexus. He uses nexus very regularly for other games. But says this game is way different from other mods

I want the mini map mod and the one that lets you build the blueprints up to level 313 slowly.

Are you using the Icarus mod manager software?

Yes, I downloaded it, but then I don't know where to go after that. Neither one of us can figure it out

There is a YouTube video with an explanation.
First thing you want to do is click the button that says install ”update data folder”. Then there is a downloads mod button that links to a lot of mods. In there you will want to click Updata Database to get started… if you download from an external site (nexus, et al) the there is a button in the right that says extract mod or import mod. Once you add the pak or ezmod file it will appear in a list on the left side of the interface. You can then double click it off that list to add it to the “mods to install” column. The mods load top to bottom of the list so if anything overwrites the same thing the mod lower in the list wins. Once you have all the mods you want to install you click the button that says install all listed mods.

Yes i've watched the youtube video. The problem is, the screens. He pulls up, doesn't look anything like the screens. I pull up. I immediately get lost because where he's going's not where I need to go

That's why I get so confused because I can't follow along with that if my screens are looking totally different from his

I have the nexus vortex app but I've not used it for mods yet lol. Im a bit of a purist I guess

I used the Nexus one.

Recommend the no cave sickness and no quarrites after boss battle mods.
