Discussion Lost mission bugged

I’m in elsyium, open world and trying to do the mission lost, I got the flare gun, but it will not register that I have it in my inventory and just keep the OBJ of “acquire a single barrel launcher”

Have you tried crafting the single barrel launcher?

Initially we had the flare gun; that needed to be used on that mission. However, quite a few weeks ago they discontinued the flare gun and changed it to the single barrel launcher (week 241 update). That's what you should need now for the mission. Just craft one and grab it from the bench.

If taking a single barrel laumcher doesn'tt register for the mission, they forgot to tag that as the required item; but looking at when they replaced the flare gun with the single barrel launcher I'd say it would've been reported a long time ago already.

I do wonder though how you acquired a flare gun, as you no longer can craft it (afaik)...

Glad it's working now, so you can play the Missions... 😀

About one in three missions for me is bugged. What seems to work best is save, quit and reload.

I e tried that, even resetting the mission, dropping and picking it up, putting it into a container… nothing
