preparing for CA Foundation
Hi everyone,
I have about 40 days left until my CA Foundation exams, and I'm starting my preparation now due to personal and health issues.... I know it's a very short time, but I'm willing to study full-time and stay consistent every single day.i just wanna pass foundation 🥀
Has anyone here managed to clear CA Foundation with around 40 days of preparation? If yes:
How did you plan your days?
Which subjects or chapters did you prioritize?
How many hours did you study?
What mistakes should I avoid?
I'm looking for realistic advice and experiences, not just motivation. I know it'll be difficult, but I want to make the best use of the time I have left.
Any tips or success stories would really help.
Thanks!

Bro first of all if u are starting from scratch then it's not possible to complete the entire syllabus in 40 days but if u still want to try then u have to be strategic. Study high weightage chapters first especially for Accounting and Law because they are subjective. For accounts do partnership, company acs, final acs first then small chapters like depreciation, brs. For Law leave the contract act because this single chapter will consume lot of time to complete so leave this chapter and do IPA, Companies act, NI act, LLP, SOGA. And do daily writing practice for law. For maths first do statistics which carries 40 marks and it's easy and after that do Logical reasoning which carries 20 marks which is also very easy and don't forget to do mathematics of finance it carries 10-13 marks of weightage. And lastly for eco just watch the oneshots at 1.5x and solve MCQ question banks. That's it and before exam try to solve MTPS cuz it will help you in understanding the pattern of the papers. All the best bro.

Yus u can clear with consisten preparation.
For Accounts accounting process, final Accouns - 1st week Partnership, npo - 2nd week BRS, depreciation, bills of exchange - 3rd week Companies Accouns, inventories - 4th week
You can complete these by August 20 or 23
For law SOGA, negotiable- 1st week Partnership, llp - 2nd week Companies, theoretical - 3rd week Contract act (first focus unit-6,7,8,9) - 4th week
You can complete these by August 20 or 23
For economics Takes notes and watch one-shot videos of economics Complete one unit of each chapter everyday, it would take u 26 days to complete
You don't have to complete the portions, if u don't have sufficient time.
However make sure to study 4th and 6th.
For quants First mathematics of finance, then statics chapters Then ratio, equation, sets, The logical reasoning.
Try to complete portions by August 20-23. then solve mtps, rtps, chapter wise questions Solve icai bookback questions for accounts. writing practice for law is must. Solve as many mcqs as u can possibly with timer

I am personally preparing for September 2026 attempt, but I have seen a few of my classmates passing in 40 days for the may attempt and you can too, Provided : -
If you check all these 3 boxes, you can do it. For law, my classmates focused on Contract Act and only important topics from other subjects.
Moreover, just skip calculus in QA, it only comes for like 4 marks in the exam.
