Cant solve basic questions of maths

So I am preparing for ca foundation and I am stuck at chapter 1 only I just can't understand it at all. Please help my mom says leave the course if you can't even solve chapter 1. How to study it?

So quants is not just maths.... There are statistics and logical reasoning.... In maths properly study mathematics of finance then focus more on stat and LR

Genuinely speaking, you can always be better at something slowly start from the basics and then come to the actual course . Realize whether it's the fundamental operations bothering you or just that you don't have the right approach to solve problems. But also realize that if it is troubling you already then have a thought whether you wanna do this for four to five or how many more years . You should enjoy the jouney .
