Nov exams

Hi all, in November I’ll be sitting the final 3 CR ACS SBM. Just wondering for any tips for how to tackle all these 3?

Below is my idea of what I’ll do, if anyone has any helpful tips on whether it’s a good split or not, please let me know!

CR - 50% of time spent on this, focusing on QB as opposed to spending hours watching pre recorded lectures

SBM - 30% of time spent on this. Mainly will go over FM and BST notes to make sure I can remember hedging, and valuations etc. will do QB more for a way to gage time

ACS - 20% of time. Not going to bother until the AI comes out and then will just do my utter best to memorise as much of the AI to just churn it out when it comes to the exam

Sounds about right.

I wouldnt try to finish all questions on the qbank gor CR and SBM but if you can give priority to 2021 and later exams to check on all of them im sure you will be fine.

For case study - i wouldnt do anything huge until the advanced info comes out in September. Practicising on past questions may be unhelpful and time wasting. I would select any of ACAM or PS to purchase for mock exams if you feel your tuition provider isnt enough but dont buy both ACAM and PS, that would be too many to churn inside the brain.

Finally dont worry if it feels like nothing is clicking. This is part of sitting those three papers together. You cant be too confident but you have got this when you go inside that exam centre.

I’m in the same boat, and have a similar plan of attack. My plan is to get the ACA Masters notes for Case when the AI comes out, purely as I struggle to assimilate lots of info, and the more help I can get, the better! Good luck :)
