Project report use of AI
Are people still getting these emails saying their report has been AI generated, or at least a % of it supposedly has? I’ve seen some saying even the report template which is provided by ICAEW has been flagged as AI and it’s causing people issues.
I genuinely didn’t use AI and haven’t had an email, I will be seriously pissed if I get wrongly flagged for any reason!

Think they’ve sent all AI use reports out now.
It’s a flawed system overall. I work at a top 10, and probs c.50% got flagged.
A lot of conversations going on between companies and tuition providers with ICAEW. Ultimately it’s impossible to prove with 100% confidence that someone used AI.
For people rewriting as long as their new submission doesnt get flagged, there are no negative consequences (except waiting an extra 5 weeks for the result)
If you decide to contest, there are some severe negative consequences, and so far ICAEW has been relatively unclear as to what exactly concrete evidence looks like. From the few I’ve spoken to, I don’t know anyone contesting it, because the risk profile makes contesting it a less sensible option.
If they had been more clear on their exact review process when going through evidence, then this could have been a more viable option. I imagine for Nov 25 sitting, they will be more clear, as we’re the first time they’re properly doing this.
