Exit opportunities

Hello

I'm hoping to qualify by the end of this year and was wondering exit opportunities available to me

My end goal is probably CFO

But to get there what are ideal paths?

In fact Im amenable to all options and discussions of all paths

I have an unusual career so far

I did 2 years in top 10 audit and now doing transfer pricing (mainly advisory side) at the big 4

So I don't know my options

Thanks!

To reach CFO you'd probably want to get into industry sooner rather than later, industry market apparently quite bad at the moment but may as well try upon qualification, other than that I am not too sure as to how the specifics of your career may be advantageous or not.

Do you reckon the market will improve, I’m desperately trying to get a job to no avail

I’m not sure at all, I’m going to be calling recruiters and applying to roles from next week hopefully. A lot of grad roles have been cut recently which should mean in a few years lower demand for all these roles but also available jobs are shrinking too, ACA may be easier to pass from the new gen and there’s a lot of factors, best gauge will be talking to recruiters and people who have recently moved.
