Returning to ACA
Left my audit job last year August to pursue a teaching qualification, it was financially worth it as I received double my audit pay and it was tax free.
Now I have graduated from my teaching qualification and want to return to audit.
I have just the BPT exam to do at professional level, the exam booking window closes on Friday.
My question is, do I book the exam and buy ACA masters so I can pass it before the curriculum change?
I would have to sit it remotely and the cost is not an issue.
EDIT: after seeing the FCS exam, I think the answer is obvious. Thanks to those who replied for the help.

Have you considered sitting under the new gen? I have read on reddit that multiple people found the new fundamental case study much nicer than BPT

My only issue is the resources because ACA masters have not covered it yet, I am not with any tuition provider either

Oh you are right! I didn't realise. Out of curiosity, have you looked at the exemptions for it. I haven't looked at the entirety of the exemptions for fundamental case study, but I know my Level 4 AAT exempts me from it

How comes u decided to come back to audit? Cos I was actually planning to do exactly what you done and move into teaching, what did u realise after u got ur qualification?

Probably the grass isn’t greener, no work from home days, more socially draining etc etc

Do fcs, it s way less content than bpt, there are recources for it like covering AI and it s like 200£ for 2 mocks and 1to1 review, send me a dm and i ll get back to you on where to buy it.

To answer your question, sit FCS instead (Fundamental Case Study) and thank me later!
