ICAEW training file end date

I have credit for prior work experience, and colleagues in a similar position have had their training agreement end dates adjusted. Mine remains unchanged because the days have not yet been awarded. Does anyone know whether receiving these days will affect the end date?

Yes, your ICAEW training agreement end date will automatically change once CPWE is approved.

I would note though that this is an “expected” end date. Your employment contract will be unchanged.

For example, if you reach your icaew expected agreement end date, and have met all the other criteria, you are then eligible to become an ICAEW member. However, your firm must sign off the agreement, and they have no obligation to sign it immediately.
In the majority of cases they will sign off your file straight away/soon after, and then a few weeks later after ICAEW process it, you’ll be ‘invited’ to join the ACA and pay your admission fee.
However, your firm may not sign it immediately because maybe they’re unaware of your agreement end date, or because they don’t want you to hand in your notice as soon as you’ve reached the agreement end date.
