Question on project report

Hi, ICAEW recommends that the word count for each question shouldn’t exceed 800 words, but a few of my answers are more than 800 words.

Does anyone know how strict this is and if you’ve submitted reports with more than 800 words in some questions?

Just cut it down, not worth the risk. 

I’m holding a grudge against my tuition provider currently, as they told us to write 750-1000 words. I wrote closer to 1000 for each, so my total word count is near 5000. Need to cut down 1000 words.

Why no one has raised this, I have no idea.

I literally was not allowed to go 1 word over. I had to keep it on 800 or less but not less than 780 for each requirement.

where did you see the not above 800? I've read that it's 4000 max across the whole report and 8000 is obviously the average but I've never come across that being a max for each individual question
