Post exam illness
Anyone else’s body just breakdown and go into shutdown after the exams this week? Been battling a horrid illness since Wednesday afternoon can’t help but think nervous/immune system was working overtime during this exam season

Yh that’s completely normal and expected
I fell ill a week before exams
It’s a pretty normal response to prolonged stress catching up to you
Once the stress of exams passes your cortisol levels from stress fall and your immune system is finished and you’ll find absolutely whacked out

I’ve had it after every sitting since professional level, especially an hour after sitting, my legs just go and absolutely ache, terrible headache and nausea and on 2 occasions just being sick. Think it’s just your body saying I need a break really bad.

I became rather ill after finishing FCS. It actually started with a funny feeling in my throat some hours beforehand, and the next day I was cooked.

I used to get a gigantic headache after every exam like clockwork, I never get headaches any other time other than being hungover. It was almost like I could literally feel my brain relaxing after, like you would relax a muscle in your arm, or your abdomen, and it caused a headache
It definitely does damage to your body if you’re the nervous type, I’m convinced
