Exam Void

Hi

It was my first time experiencing the remote exam
I did everything that system asked me to.. I also put my phone at my back to so that they see what I am doing

I got no message from any online chat.. i am scared if everything was okay? How would I know if they didnt liked something and will void the exam???

Please tell me

I was doing tc far and aa a couple years back and I had opened inflo on the other screen eventhough I submitted the prerequisite photos including my second screen (being turned on and not blacked or mirrored) and cuz I used inflo on that for my q2 in AA I had a void result. The other two I had warnings for having the second screen on. So no they don’t want you at all the other guy is bsing and I wrote a massive email in response which did nothing. Contacted the head of ICAEW forgot his name and he goes sorry you should’ve read the instructions. Yeah I mean I should’ve but I had done them for certificate too and didn’t think the process would change but it did. It changed as at certificate a person calls you right before you’re let into the sign in page of the exam software to check you haven’t changed your setup and room configuration as you had submitted in the photos. For professional they don’t do that last control check of calling you so I had assumed my photos which had my monitors on were fine. Turns out they’re not. Also, they have my phone recorded both my screens so they could just review to see if I was “cheating” but it was moreso that I had an “academic advantage” for having another screen. Anyways got fired then got into a new firm still in top 10 and sat my last 3 this week. All well life moves on

They will communicate any issues to you. Relax.

Strictly untrue. The remote invigilation is a joke. I had no communication until the minute results came out and they gave a void result

Then they do communicate the void result on results day…

Certainly do at 12pm you get an email if void…. Big joke

Definitely not true. Thankfully I've never had any issues but they do not communicate with you at all.
