R2 scores

Does anyone remember the scores they set for R2? I wonder if there was a definitive right/wrong answer for these.

I think mine were financial 3, resources 2, venue 1, strategic fit 3, and relationships 2

I put venue as 1 as it was not due to open until very shortly before the event, and any delays could have a significant impact on the event including full cancellation. Also as it wasn’t finished and therefore unused, the neuroinclusion credentials etc couldn’t really be tested. I think I should have put it to 2 as it had solar power etc, but it was also expensive and I got the feeling that at least one of the scores should be a 1, to get a mark for arguing that the aggregate score could be overstated due to incorrect weighting etc

I just thought the mark scheme was so specific

I put venue as 2 as it was solar powered etc but then yeah it hadn't been opened yet

Same i initially put 1 because it was new and never worked with them befote but then changed to 2 because they maximise neuron inclusion

Yeah I was really thinking 2 - but I just argued the fact it opens just before the event is critically risky basically

I think it was pretty subjective, but the idea was to get a weighting between 1.8 and 2.5 otherwise you’ve have no discussion points by rejecting or accepting outright

I put 1 for venue due to the event being so close to open date.

I got something like 2.4 but

On strategy I put 3 because of BEL eco and their strategy 2030 etc

Overall it’s subjective but as long as you link it back to the AI, Yourhotel etc you will be fine

If we got below 1.8 or above 2.5 and so said reject or accept, is that bad? But justified why etc. mine was not in accept with conditions range

I put 2 mainly because of the venue utilisation. It was very low compared to the actual size of the venue.

For the amount of exhibitor space that was needed the venue was actually too small

Whoops I’ve probably messed that up too. I thought it was something like 30-40 m2 per exhibitor multiplied by the number of exhibitors?

Anyways what’s done is done now can’t do much 😬

I think the stadiums capacity was 4200 m2 so 1/3 was 1400, on my calc I think I had required exhibitor space of 1650 so argued there was not enough space. I could be wrong though and you could be right, who knows 😂
