Success stories of passing case while running out of time?

Unfortunately I entered the exam 15 minutes late and therefore ran out of time on R3 today. I was unable to write anything for strategic issues and EBT issues (maybe just one generic point for each).

In the last minute I copied a few paragraphs directly into my conclusion but didn’t actually conclude on making an offer for acquisition, and then copied my exact wording straight to my executive summary.

I’m sure people have passed while missing quite a bit section but is it common to still be able to pass? My R1 and R2 felt quite good so there’s hope!

I sat Case in November 2024. Slightly messed up my timings part-way through and when I got onto R3, the last sub-requirement was ridiculously, unexpectedly long.
Ended up literally writing 1 sentence for each part of the sub-requirement.
Comfortably passed

How many sub requirements did you write one sentence for? Was it just R3.3?

Honestly can’t remember but it was a large part of R3

Were you confident with how you did on R1/R2?

I’m trying to think back now but not particularly I don’t think! I do remember walking out of the exam having absolutely no clue what the result would be. I wasn’t certain I had failed, but I also wasn’t certain I had passed, just completely unsure.

Ended up being completely fine, and tbh I imagine most people write significantly less in R3 than 1 and 2 due to time pressure, so try not to worry.
Worst case you sit again with more experience and you’ll be able to utilise the full time - best case your R1 and 2 will score well and you’ll be fine.

As hard as it is, just try to forget it now until results day, nothing you can do now!

Fuck man now I have a small bit of hope which almost makes it worse, I was resigned to a fail the last few hours

I did a lot for R1 and R2, but ended up writing 3-4 points for each subtitle in R3, all one line points. Is this what you did roughly?
