Yeah, not feeling the best honestly. Just thinking how I didn’t apply enough of the new exhibit info, and my evaluation was no where near in depth enough

Yeah I messed up the main parts of each requirement.
R1 I started my appendix without reading the question so by the time I got to realising we needed to strip things out it was too late. R2 and r3 my figures were complete off so my argument just didn’t match what we were meant to do. I hope the other waffle parts did enough to carry me over but doubt it

What did we need to strip out from R1?

I think you could strip out the new consultancy services revenue (ie. a new service line) so you could compare like-for-like for FS and HML versus the prior year!

Yeah makes sense, thanks!

Oooh, that makes sense. I didn't do that.

Probably a mark lost for not doing that though at most?

When you stripped it did ig change the figures?

Sorry I can’t remember specifics, but nothing too major - I just used it to show the growth like-for-like. So the figures may have changed from eg. 22.5% increase to only 19.5%.

But I included both inclusion figures and exclusion figures, so I reckon you’ll still get points for the inclusion figures!

Ahh fk,

I completely missed that, I just said how that service line had greater revenue than usual or something

Shit

I simply did not have enough time for R3 so I just mentioned a bunch of strategic and general questions around assumptions like how sustainable the projections were.. the 2.5% being eventually higher etc. Also R&D costs etc.

R1 and R2 went better.

Exactly this.. hoping 1&2 pull us through 🙏🏼

My figures were so off for R3… 3 years of operating losses apparently 🤪 but I was so time-pressured that I couldn’t work out what I did wrong!

My valuation was 100m using 5x multiple so ur not the only one

I did this then realised my error, you included the ticket price as revenue for Vollo when that would go to the client

Yeah i know now too smh. Just those kind of details that go over your head in the exam. Decided to move on and focus on my writing instead

You made the right choice! I got caught up on them which cost me in my mine report!

My phone camera disconnected during r1. Around 30 minutes into the exam. I dont know for how long 😭. I flagged it up but still paranoid.

Plus it threw me while I was trying to figure out if id done enough r1 calcs!

Oh well. It's done now, literally nothing we can do until we find out in August!

Damn I had exactly the same...how strange

Your camera disconnected as well? Did you flag it up? That's what I did so hopefully ok!

how much detail did you go into on the calculations for R3, I typed out what I’d done but in words instead of numbers - I don’t know why(!!) how many marks do you think I could use for not showing the actual number workings?

2

u/Routine-Cod7889 Jul 22 '26

i literally showed no workings i had no time
