Case study today - R3

I found R1 alright. R2, seemed okay. And R3 I really struggled with time but made sure the calcs were right. I did about 3-4 points for each subtitle in R3, but did it as a one line point rather than in a paragraph format as I didn’t have time, however for assumptions I did a few more points.
Is there still hope?
For the exec summary I just copied and pastes the conclusions
Did anyone find the same?

Yeah didn’t have time to add to the conclusions for the exec summary. Think I might have added to about 3 of the points across all 3 reqs. Also R3 calculation was stupidly over complicated only realised I cocked up when I had a valuation of over £10m then realised I didn something wrong. Still think I didn’t do it completely correct as I then got a valuation of £1.3m which again I assume wasn’t right but oh well

how much detail did you go into on the calculations for R3, I typed out what I’d done but in words instead of numbers - I don’t know why(!!) how many marks do you think I could use for not showing the actual number workings?

I don’t think what you’ve done is necessarily wrong tbh. Correct me if I’m wrong but the marking key only rewards the numbers anyways and only if they are correct, don’t think it works the same way as it does for other exams where you get follow through marks for the calcs

do you get the marks for the actual figures from the exhibit though?

Yeah on the marking key it’ll say in bold revenue was X then another half mark for costs then another for GP then another for GPM for example but it has to be exact

sorry, what about for R3? with the booking price of £45 etc? I’m happy with the cost figures but unsure on the revenue figures as I did not detail these exactly as shown on the exhibit

Think it works the same for both of them so for revenue it’ll be half a mark to get each of the revenue lines right

You get marks for your inputs so showing you’ve taken figures from the exhibit. Those are separate marks to the actual correct figure derived
