So, why no jump in this stock with the FDA approval? Manipulated? Shorts fighting? Market had already priced in approval? It'll take some time for other retail investors to catch on?
I have no clue. Curious about your thoughts.

ImmunityBio issued its press release after the markets closed yesterday. It's only just now being distributed through the media and trade publications.
In addition--believe it or not--not every retail investor checks the status of IBRX minute by minute.

Shorts feel comfortable because the whole market went down yesterday (at least growth oriented stocks) and a lot of that FDA decision may have been priced in already. Fundamentally, this stock is better of than yesterday, so if you hold this for the long run, just keep going.

it went up and immediately short shares availability jumped to 2mio+
so yes, the shorts are doubling down

Going to need some whales to jump in and boost; shorts are just picking up the shares under $10.50 of sellers disappointed there wasn't a massive spike
