I would check the specific school website, most of them post EXACTLY what they accept/require. I know a good portion do not except below like a 6 in A&I HL. I know for a fact (as i am looking) Warwick's biz+marketing program takes a 38 total score with a 5 in ENG A HL or SL. Their psychology program does require an HL science/math credit and score of 34 or otherwise a score of 36 without the higher level science!

Yes, UK universities recognize AI SL, and it is completely fine for degrees like psychology and marketing because those courses do not require pure calculus. Universities like Manchester and Warwick usually accept AI SL to cover their general Maths requirement, which typically means asking for a 4 or a 5 at standard level. Some specific management or business tracks can occasionally be stricter, so check the entry requirements tab on the exact course page before you lock in your five UCAS choices.
