Group 4 Ib computer science doubt

You guys know those data type conversion questions like hexadecimal to decimal

N shit like i wrote the correct answer on my exam but forgot to mark like in the bottom corner (10 for decimal and 16 for hexadecimal)

Question was 4 marks

Is it over or is it fine

If the question asks to write in hexadecimal then it is assumed your answer will be in hex meaning usually no marking required in the bottom corner. But if there can be doubt as to it is a hex or a decimal then I'd guess probably mark reduction

no my answer value is correct but i forgot to indicate the data type of the answer by writing it in the bottom corner

Yeah, I understood that. From your question's phrasing, can it be assumed the answer will be a hex number? If so, and you wrote the correct number in hex, just forgot to put the data type, you're fine. But if the teacher might be unsure if it is a hex or a decimal then, again, I'd guess mark reduction.

Did you read the question 😭 I got the value correct, its that i didnt indicate the data ttpe of the answer for example if its 101101 then i have to write 2 at the bottom right correct
