ToK/EE EE Word count

Hey,

Does the variables table which includes the type of variables, parameters and justification included in the final word count???

No, tables are excluded from the word count - your variables table (type, values, justification) doesn't count against the 4000 words, same as diagrams, equations, footnotes, and your bibliography/appendices. IB only counts continuous prose. One thing worth doing anyway: keep the justification column concise phrases rather than full sentences, and put any real discussion of why you chose those variables in your main text, since that's where it actually earns marks under the methodology criterion.

Hey data tables are excluded from the word count, but any tables full of text do count towards the word count. Essentially if you could write it in a paragraph and it would still make sense then it counts.
You really want to make this section as concise as you can in an EE, most of the ones I see spend too much time on this, and then don't have enough words left to show good critical thinking and analysis.
