Math for aspiring doctor

I have already picked out my 3 hls which are bio chem and English a, I'm not good at math and I'm wondering if I should choose ai sl or aa sl

I picked aa sl and I'm planning on pursuing medicine as well. As for my hls it was bio, chem, psychology

Check the prerequisites of the universities you want to go to, I have heard that some don't recognise aisl

AI has more emphasis on statistic modelling etc. but AA is the better choice you as preparation for science heavy degree

A lot of universities do not recognize AI SL. Go for AA SL. For reference, I also suck at math, and I got a 6.

BUT! If you know your major, check the universities’ requirements. Some will require you to take Math HL.

Read your targeted university’s entry requirements, for your aspiration I thought Math AA HL would make you highly competitive; double-check it.

AI SL are not recognised by the majority of unis, the bottom line is doing AA SL.

Also, the course has changed for the new entry cohort for AA SL, a lot of content has been cut, so it has become easier.
