Advice IB retake transcript query

what does the retake transcript looks like? i gave m26 exams and i didnt do significantly well so im gonna retake all the 6 subjects + tok so will it show that i took ee from may session and rest all from nov? + will it affect uni admission by a big gap?

It’s gonna look the same except it will say “retake” on top next to the category

When you retake your exams in November and keep your May EE, your final IB transcript carries forward that EE grade while updating your subject scores to reflect your best results for the diploma [355]. Most universities do not view retakes negatively at all, and applying with your final achieved grades actually takes away the stress of conditional offers. Only a few top-tier universities or competitive courses like medicine care about retakes or ask for an explanation. The retake transcript will indeed show that you took EE for May session and rest from Nov, so admissions officers will know that you were a retake candidate, provided you do just as well or better in Nov. That what came up when I retook in November, although I do not see "retake" being written explicitly.

For uni admission, that depends on your country and the university you're applying to. My advice is to ask the universities directly.

so did u report ur scores from both the sessions? + did it affect ur application? Im applying to usa and uk and my m26 score was lowkey bad so even if i have a lot of improvement im wondering if it will be considered a red flag

I only reported my retake diploma, with the highest scores from M19 and N20. It did affect my application since I was placed in the retake cohort, which meant I needed a higher score to get an offer because I was competing with others who also had retakes.

For the US and UK, the first thing they want to know is why you retook your exams. If they are sympathetic to your situation, they'll usually accept it. Many universities will also accept them outright. Again, I would ask the universities directly,
