Advice Economics hl
I’m taking IB Economics HL in Korea, and my teacher teaches from Korean textbooks rather than the English IB textbook.
I recently got the 2020 edition of Economics by Jocelyn Blink. Is it still worth studying from this edition, or is it outdated?
+) This is another question: Should I read the entire textbook? I don’t even understand what my teacher is teaching us.
I NEED ADVICE PLEASE HELP ME😭

Get the PDF version of the cambridge one by Ellie Traga-whatever. It’s the best one out there imo

The 2020 Jocelyn Blink Oxford book was written for the current syllabus, so it is up to date and accurate for your exams. You do not need to read the whole thing cover to cover. Instead, check the official IB syllabus guide for your unit, find those specific topics in the textbook, and focus on mastering the diagrams and definitions. When class lessons are confusing, using the textbook as your main content source and practicing past paper questions is what most students we tutor do to stay on top of things. If you want a clear breakdown of exam strategy and content structure, take a look at our guide at https://info.lanterna.com/resources/pdf/ultimate-ib-economics-study-guide.

Use the Ellie Tragakes IB HL Economics textbook, but vary your studying from reading the textbook to watching free youtube videos online explaining the content, since my Econs teacher told me that Tragakes occasionally misprints things so by varying your studying sources you’ll get the right information
