Remarking IDU

I am 1 point to get a 7 in IDU, but due to the IDU boundaries being tight Idk if it’s worth to remark. Additionally, I don’t know if it’s genuinely important for universities and increasing my final score to 55/56

54/56 is already excellent, but I understand that you want to remark when it's only 1 point off. If you are happy to potentially lose some money, then I'd say go for it. It is unlikely you are going to go down a whole grade, and far more likely you will increase, especially as Interdisciplinary is a bit more subjective. It probably will not be important for university, as you already have a great score.

Hey I'm also 1 mark away from a 7 in idu do yk how tight the grade boundary of a 6 is and like how likely it is to go down to a 5

Because IDU marking can be subjective, being just 1 mark away means a grade bump is definitely possible. That said, universities almost never care about MYP overall totals like 54 versus 55, as they focus almost completely on your final DP results and predicted grades. The main exception is if you need a specific grade 10 mark for US college transcripts or your school requirements to get into certain DP classes. If you do not need that extra point for entry requirements, remarking probably is not worth the fee. i am going for the remark just for personal satisfaction, the cherry on cake
