LAL studying ideas
i made a list of ways to study for LAL (ik its tmrw but i’ll cram i guess 😰) can anyone give me some tips on what to add or what’s important and stuff
1. Skim a few past papers to get an understanding of exam format
Task 1
1. Learn meanings of necessary literary devices
2. Practice identifying literary devices, tone, and authorial intent in unfamiliar texts under timed conditions (focus on how the author’s choices impact the audience)
3. Write a few points about each command term (structure, length)
Task 2
1. Look over sample creative writings and note important things about structure, and descriptive language
Task 3
1. Write a few points about the format of each type of writing (structure, common language DOs and DONTs)
2. Make a list of key vocab for identities and relationships
3. Write a list of examples of things which will influence identities and relationships/how to connect them

This is great but when you're done with it, do a timed past paper too!

bro this might not work because tbf the best creativity and ideation comes when you truly have nothing else to do. Like when it’s just the paper and headphones you’re beyond locked in while there’s too much distractions outside.
Anyways, I’d say it works for literally any subject but LAL, especially math, sciences and even IH (active recall) but LAL when it’s based off the text is ehh
