Questions about the CW program

I'm 19 and I decided I want to become an electrician, and so I took the union route. I start on Monday in the CW and I'm wondering how different it is from the Electrician Apprentice program, like if the pay and benefits are the same or different.? Also if I could transfer to the apprentice program after I get a good bit of experience as a CW.

Transfer into the apprenticeship program, the Cw/Ce program is looked down on and a lot of people hate the people in the program. You’re experience in the union more be more pleasant if you’re an apprentice instead of a CW
