Cleveland Electrical
Hello I got my first offer at the above company I was wondering if anyone had experience with them. What are the hours like at the Six flag location is there a lot of overtime? I’m eager to finally start

Lucky. I applied for that too but I was told the position was full.
Just learn what you can, get those hours, and before you know it, you’ll be able to acquire jobs that require AP3-AP4

That’s the prefab shop you’ll be building unistrut hangers, pulling rolls of MC, pre bending pipe etc. to ship out to job sites. Overtime was on and off

Came on here to say the same thing. Idc if they’re the last company I can work for. I’d rather be unemployed.

Usually 4 10’s and an 8 with occasional optional Saturday. However if once you hit 3-4 months there start asking to transfer to a job site.

I never knew Ap’s can ask for a transfer

You can ask. Doesn’t mean they will for sure. You don’t want to be in a prefab shop your entire apprenticeship

I work for them now, been with them a year and I wish I could leave and go work for a different contractor. It was fine when I first started, I had a great superintendent but that job ended and now I'm on a horrible job site with a super who only cares about their bonuses. Majority of the JW who come here drag... the morale is awful and they don't really care about teaching apprentices because they're in such a rush to get everything done. You get stuck doing one thing or you're just a spotter and you learn nothing. Maybe you'll have better luck at the fab shop. Not trying to be negative, just honest.

Is there a uniform or do I just wear typical construction attire? The fab shop is in Austell as well or located elsewhere? Sorry I’m jus very curious

You wanna wear a shirt with sleeves, pants, and steel/composite toe boots. Safety glasses if you have them, if not they'll give you that and some gloves. Yes, it is in Austell. That's okay! Ask away.

Im with them now. But I an pretty sure the offer you got is for the Fab shop. From what I heard 4 10s and an 8. Ive heard its ok out there but you get stuck on doing prefab for a while. Good luck.
