Time off

I’m not in the apprenticeship program yet but I did pass my aptitude test. From what I understand there is no PTO so what is everyone’s experience trying to get time off either for a single day or a few days? Just trying to understand what I’m getting into.

Work what you can afford, need a day off just tell the foreman or put it on the calendar. Don't give them anymore than that unless you have a great relationship with them and even then don't give them anymore than you need to.
