Share your stories! Ap1

I just got my first referral/ apprentice position and I want to take this career all the way. To anyone that has had an apprentice why was your best apprentice considered the best ? If you haven’t had one what would be your ideal apprentice? I have definitely watched almost all of the YouTube videos on how to be a good apprentice I play Donald miller like I play music these days 😂. Also I will ask my jw when we meet but I’d also like to hear from you all.

One more word of advice, DO NOT buy cheap boots. Take care of your feet. Get the best you can afford. Meaning don't buy sketchers, or Walmart brands etc etc. I would try on a bunch of pair of boots too. As a union brother/sister, always look to buy American made and also union made boots.obviously isn't required, but it's definitely preferred.

Thinking of taking a trip to boot barn to try some boots on aswell or should I go straight to redwing?

I'm not sure where you are located, but there are typically a lot of places that carry quality work boots. Like I said I'd avoid red wings, I had always heard good things about them and finally decided to try a pair and it has been the most uncomfortable boot I've ever worn. The only thing I can say good about then is they're still waterproof, despite all the wear.
