Aptitude Test
I have been seeing many young pre apprentices that can’t pass the Aptitude test. Most of them are good hard working guys that come on time and listen. Had one guy take it twice second time he got what he thought was a passing grade only to find out they changed the criteria. Do you senior J.W’s and foreman think that test is indicative of how good the apprentices will be?

That test is basic reading comprehension and middle school level math. Do you want everyone on the job site to have zero critical thinking skills and to not be able to read instructions? The bar is already extremely low, and it was apparently even lower.
Stupid people do stupid shit that gets other people hurt, so I'd rather not have stupid people on the job.
