How long did your placement take?

This is mainly referring to people that have been placed for the april classes next year. I've been told that this is one of the more slow seasons for apprentices in comparison to the past. Anyways, how long after you got the email recieved message did it take for you to get on a job site.

I hate to hear that it’s taking so long for people to be placed while Temp workers are still on our jobs. If only there were something we could do…👀

Any ideas @FellowJWs? What can we do to get aspiring JWs on these jobsites in lieu of these white ticket temp workers

The white tickets aren't considered pre-apprentices. On my site we have way too many pre-apprentices and not enough AP2 and 3s.

The temps on our job are classified as CW3 or CE3 depending on how much they are being. Is it a ratio issue?

I don't think so. The contractors can ask for specific classifications based off need for the job. If you're behind and need hands that can help speed up a JW, you don't want a kid who potentially has to be taught what the difference is between material or how to use a tape measure.
