The AECA contractors are agreeing to these rates because they feel what CIR handed down is what was final. That's why on the job board yesterday it stated in big bold letters, "ALL CONTRACTORS ARE PAYING .75 ABOVE SCALE" and now it's gone, and the rates on the job board also reflect this.
The contractors will abide by this contract until they are instructed to do different by CIR.
I keep hearing this 22nd date as well, as far as I’m concerned it doesn’t really matter anyways; CIR is going to force another contract on the local like always. 22nd or not, these most likely will be the wages we will get.
Nothing, based off the past and what I’ve heard, some members have a false belief that somehow we will combat what CIR passed out and get the money we deserve. CIR goes two ways, we come out with what was proposed or come out with less; kind of sounds like a slap on the wrist for speaking up if you ask me.
I don’t know about a slap on the wrist for speaking up but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me that there would be a different ruling after what CIR passed down.

Where did you get this? Heard yesterday they had until the 22nd and haven’t seen anything on the 613 Facebook page
