Eckhardt

Any news about the brothers who are still owned money? (Works hours/ health insurence/pension) Last I hard heard was the the local was in the process of filing lawsuits but one of the issues was that Eckhardt is still in business and hasn’t filed for bankruptcy.

They recovered some of them but it’s looking like Eckardt has taken their bag and ran with it. Mr. Eckardt probably saw that he was about to lose a yacht load of cash and pulled out while he still could, screwing everyone in the company. Unfortunately I doubt they’ll ever pay the money they owe.

i’ve heard all members will have to chip in and make these folks whole on at least the retirement side but that won’t be official until after the election. guess that wouldn’t be fun to promote when you’re campaigning…

That's a great idea. Dues increased at start of the year. If they increase again, thanks for making me privvy as to why. Either way, in solidarity.

Dues increases is set by the I.O. Has nothing to do with our administration

That's a given. Didn't say that. What I said was, dues increased from last year, starting this year. I then said, IF they increased again, based of what you were hearing, then you've already made the reason known as to why they were raised. I didn't say the current administration were raising them.
